Vejo ai uma forma de contornar o registo de marca nacional, que a meu ver, não é positivo. I see there a workaround for the registration of national mark, which in my view, it is not good.
Não sei ainda se será possível, e se está salvaguardado o beneficio do direito de prioridade, mas poderá criar uma “corrida aos registos” de marcas nacionais que, embora estejam registadas na INPI, possam não ter domínio .pt. A iniciativa é obviamente boa, mas as regras têm de ficar bem definidas logo de início. The initiative is obviously good, but the rules must be well defined at the outset. Senão haverá muita gente com problemas desnecessários. Otherwise there will be many people with unnecessary problems.
